The Gathering Brief

Wedding

Planning a wedding from another country is a particular kind of challenge. You can't walk the venue. You can't meet vendors in person. You rely entirely on communication, precision, and trust. Everything has to be right the first time because there is no second visit.

This wedding was planned entirely from Canada and executed in France. Every vendor was sourced, vetted, and managed remotely by me. Every detail was confirmed, documented, and handed off with a run of show precise enough that nothing was left to chance.

But the logistics were never the point. The point was that guests flew across the world for this celebration and when they arrived, every single one of them should feel like the event had been designed with them specifically in mind.

Curated personal letters for every guest that said, quietly, we thought about you. Music that shifted as the evening changed gear. The kind of details that don't photograph, but that people feel for years afterward.

The run of show was built to the minute. Vendors had everything they needed before they needed it. We arrived on the day and experienced our own wedding, not as planners watching it unfold, but as the two people at the centre of it.

That is always the goal. This was the event that made it clear it was possible.
